Adult Recommendations (pdf, 190kb) - Regular check-up appointments, tests and screenings are very important to assure good health. These recommendations describe the tests, exams, immunizations, and guidance recommended for each adult age group.

Recommendations for Children (pdf, 283kb) - Good medical care throughout childhood may provide a lifetime of benefits for good health. These recommendations describe information related to proper immunizations, childhood development, and safety for newborns to age 18.

These recommendations were developed by doctors at Scott & White and approved by the Scott & White Health Plan (SWHP) Quality Improvement Sub-committee. They are based on the best practice recommendations of recognized health organizations and associations. Recommendations are reviewed every two years and updated as recommendations change. The recommendations are not meant to dictate the care you receive. Your doctor can advise you concerning which tests and exams are needed based on your individual risk factors and overall health issues.
